The only thing we love more than the garden is having a flowery piece of it brightening up our get-togethers. Mum—short for Chrysanthemum—is one of our new fall faves, and we’re so excited to cheer up our dining room with this light and spicy scent. Scroll through for all the making steps.
MATERIALS & TOOLS
• Fresh Flowers • Sprigs • Napkins
• Steel rings • Scissors • Floral Tape
Trim the stem to approximately 2 inches and remove any extra leaves.
Holding a ring in one hand, wrap the first flower stem around the ring using floral tape. There’s no such thing as the right amount of tape—as long as the flowers stick!
Let that ring bloom by adding more and more flowers. Tack on all your faves! Pop some sprigs on there to add more color to your ring.
Use a spray bottle to mist the flowers with water, then store them in a cool room for a few hours before setting them out.
Slide a napkin through the ring and you’re all guest ready for your get-together.
