Good Company

We celebrated the launch of our 2013 Holiday Collection by hosting a party at the intimate and charming Tasting Table in New York City. The atmosphere was made even cozier when our friends, new and old, arrived to help us celebrate.   Seasonal scents on display included crisp Iowa Pine, warm and spicy Orange Clove, and our new tart, tangy and a little bit sweet, Cranberry.

Our much-adored namesake, Mrs. Thelma A. Meyer, was able to join us for the evening and was the delight of the party. She shared tips on how to keep your home clean and happy during the busiest time of the year. When asked how she kept the oldest of her 9 kids from telling the younger ones the truth about Santa, she answered, “Winks, whispers and little white lies.” View more of her tips here.

Chief Innovation Officer, Pamela Helms, gave depth to our holiday collection as well as answered any questions about our everyday scents. Learn more about the products she and her team conceive here.

What is a holiday party without a craft station? We set up a long table stocked with glitter pens, festive washi tape, markers and tape. Everyone enjoyed decorating cards that were later delivered to the Lollipop Theater Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the magic of movies to children in hospitals nationwide due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Let’s not forget the food! We were inspired by our Cranberry Scent and stirred up several pitchers of refreshing Cranberry Spritzer. Thelma insisted on making her addictive English Toffee and flying with it under her watchful eye all the way from her home in Iowa. If you’re curious about just how mouthwatering it is, try her recipe here.

We hope your holidays are just as bright as ours!
